How does a programme-led institution start its own archive? Which tools and roadmaps can help? On 15 June, the first knowledge session of the Network Archives Design and Digital Culture (NADD) will set you on your way. The programme consists of various presentations by the Dutch Digital Heritage Network (NDE) and DEN, a Dutch knowledge institute for culture and digital transformation.
This session is aimed at professionals working at design and digital culture organisations who are considering starting their own archive. Speakers from DEN and NDE will share information on digital strategies around archiving and outline the concrete steps you need to take in order to start your own archive. Existing tools and manuals will be discussed and highlighted in the context of design and digital culture. After the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, specifically related to their own practice. Please note that the session will be held in Dutch.
